The 2004 Olympics may be history now, but with 989?s release of ATHENS 2004, players can relive all the triumphant moments of the game on their Playstation 2. The game features 24 different summer Olympic events ranging from gymnastics to shot put to horse racing. The game modes are fairly self-explanatory, with players opting either to complete in a single event or a series of events in a decathlon or heptathlon. The game interface aims for a TV-broadcast feel, which it achieves easily.
